This is your page to Ponder---think about issues, quotes, concepts, etc. then write about how you feel about them on your dump page. Notice how you react to the words of the ponder page. Urdumpstaff will add more ponders often. Please add your own and share them with us. Yours could be posted.

These posts are not for you to agree or disagree with them but just to notice if they feel 'on' or 'off' for you. Also, why do they?

  1. Although I am not against or for whatever you choose to believe or practice, I simply ask this: Could your spiritual practice or religion or the lack of one have you in a box to nowhere? Is it keeping you there? If you are afraid to ponder this, do you have your answer? Our souls and spirits are meant to be free to question. Our thoughts and practices must grow, evolve, change, renew or perhaps dissolve. - Anonymous

  2. "The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then, you've made it a part of your ego. Listen to any "die-hard" conservative or liberal talk about their deepest beliefs and you are listening to somebody who will never hear what you say on any matter that matters to them." PLEASE read this, and "think", REALLY THINK about each word.

  6. Much of what we think and feel comes from an old movie that has been played over and over again.  Many times it would serve us to yell---“Don’t play it again Sam!” What would a new script be for you?

  7. If your thoughts and feelings are creative, how responsible are you for what you choose to feel and how you choose to think. How would your thoughts and feelings effect the world around you?

  8. You may have heard the quote attributed to Socrates and others’ “Know Thyself”.
What does this really mean to you? Is there more to know? Explore!

  9. What if you ended your “To Do List” with---- and I am free enough to have it be easy for me? Would it be easier because you decided that it would be. Does simply changing your perception of something change the event?

  10. See if this works for you-----“don’t get out of bed in the morning until you are feeling wonderful” and practice that feeling all day long! –attributed to Arnold Patent et al.
